It's also funny seeing ignorant statements like "guns kill people." You have no idea how a gun works if you say that. I'm sorry to be so blunt about it but I've grown up with them. They are not point and shoot like cheap cameras.

Ive been in the army.
Its easy to say its an ignorant statement. Technically the statement is wrong. Its not the guns that kill people, its people with guns. Someone have to pull the trigger.
I could specify more. Crazy, stupid, mad, insane, psycotic, highly depressed angry, afraid, protective etc etc... people with guns kill people. The higher amount guns out there, the higher probability someone who should not have a gun in their hands gets one.
Its just easier to say, "guns kill people" even if the statement is technically inaccurate. Its the person who pulls the trigger that kills people.
All in all, more guns leads to more deaths. That is a proven fact. Its easier to pull a trigger than to attack someone with a knife and stab them many times.
Hence the classical statement "guns kills people". Because more guns equals more killing. People could argue back on forth of the definition... There are valid arguments from both sides in my opinion.
A more accurate statement would probably be. "People kill people, mostly with guns".
