Whoa, some misconceptions are flying around here about the ca-fi unit.

First, @Brody602 - The Ca-Fi unit doesn't use a WiFi OBD2 reader. It uses a USB one (11$ shipped on amazon). I like this approach because it frees up the WiFi connection for a tether from your phone. And yes, it has dual zone so you can listen to music with everything else going on. As far as Jelly Bean goes... if you're only concern is stability, then I wouldn't worry at all. I've only had one incident of a force close, and it was because of a corrupt MP3... I tried playing the same MP3 on my JB phone and it crashed as well. You have to keep this in context. 99.99999% of people buying a head unit will never need Jelly Bean or any features of it. A LOT of people just say it has to have it just because they know it's the latest OS without considering if it would actually be used. Now, as far as the hardware is concerned. It has a 1GHz SoC with 512mb of RAM. This is the same speed as the HTC HD2 with more ram. They've ported JB onto the HTC HD2 and have gotten it to run, so I'm assuming it should support it. Oh, and the unit has 5V pre outs. Something a tablet mounted to the windshield will never, ever provide.

@Sony - I don't know if/when a Jelly Bean update will be available for it. I've been told by the manufacturer that they plan on updating it *at some point* without any indication of when or what they are updating it to. But as I've said above, no one would use it anyway. So we'll see. I have a system image ripped from it and would love to work with @ProTekk on here to see if root is obtainable.
