Easy to say when you are your doing a butt dyno. Show me a dyno and prove me wrong otherwise ill take a shops word than your opinion.

If you havent noticed almost everyone thought the Airaid did well and then they were surprised after they did this test. Even retesting it on their other 2 test cars with the SAME results. Other members who own the intake also did the same thing and got consitant results that matched the ones in this thread. You are probably the first person I have seen that doesnt think this dyno is junk. Lots of members have already tried to sell it or get rid of it with no luck even for cheap.

Since you own the intake itself its hard to face the facts when theirs multiple dynos showing us otherwise. What you might be thinking is a placebo. Obviously throttle response is a little bit peppier but intakes dont show any true power till the cars in the higher rpm's which I doubt you could tell the difference between a couple less or more whp.

Go to a shop and do a dyno then post your findings until then Ill trust the multiple dynos on this site thats already been done and proven that the Airaid is crap. Imagine if the hood was closed also since these are with the hood open. Cant imagine how much worse it would do. Even Airaid posted saying that their customers have seen a difference in their car but when they were asked how many of those customers actually had a dyno done with the intake since then they have mysteriously disappeared. Any real company that stands behind their product would of proven that this information provided was wrong by retesting their product which still hasnt happened yet since the start of this thread.

Shit we might as well not dyno any intake then if thats the case. Why do dynos at all fuck. Forget it then if doing dynos is pointless since their not real driving conditions.. Dynos were done with the hood closed by another member and it still showed gain. So if the Airaid lost power then imagine how much more it will lose if the hood is closed. Same with any other intake that is showing little gain. They probably will lose some also. So its safe to say the Injen will gain power just not as much as the dynos say since it is open hood.

Another member did do a dyno with the hood closed and it showed gains so what more do you want? Like it or not its data and I would feel a lot more comfortable purchasing an intake that has gains on a dyno then losing power like the Airaid. If dynos are so useless for such data why would vendors even bother showing us this information and why would so many people base their decisions on this information when you say otherwise. Face the facts the Injen is the best intake right now on the market lean or not its still performing the best out of all the intakes out right now until a true CAI like Perrins is released. Only then we will see how theirs will do. They even said they were surprised at how bad a lot of intakes did after testing out others. No surprise that most of them did like crap and probably Injens and theirs had the best performance on the dynos.
