Just bought my BRZ on Saturday Dec 1 in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Went in to buy a practical car, came home with the BRZ
But it IS practical compared to the 05 MR2 Spyder I traded in!
Someone had ordered the BRZ, it was delivered Thursday and no one bought it until I came along (unsuspectingly) 2 days later.
My BRZ has all the bells and whistles I don't need like navigation, but it also has all the stuff I do "need" like manual trans, LSD, traction control, heated seats, ...
Have just over 200 miles on it now and gaining rapidly with my 33-mile each-way weekday commute. Today is my first sunny day with it - I wonder what it's like to drive on dry pavement?! Going out for lunch today!
Now for a little driver training so I can utilize all it's glory - maybe a trip to OR Raceway Park and The Ridge are in order. PIR, ho hum, well it's close.
