The transmission in the FR-S/BRZ is just a conventional torque converter automatic with flappy paddles. It's really not comparable to the PDK, which is much more like a manual transmission than an automatic (other than the fact that it can shift itself!)
I have never driven a PDK, and I don't doubt it is quite advanced, but nothing you wrote have articulated why the PDK is better then the slush box found in the FR-S/BR-Z. You used the trust me card, again. Your argument is completely based on the relationship, PDK tech > TC tech. If what the internet says is true (and who can ever not trust the internet), similar to the IS-F automatic, the FR-S/BR-Z slush box can lock-up the TC from 2nd through 6th. Lexus likes to market the IS-F can shift in 0.1s (compared to 0.05s in F1 cars) with a sorry TC auto (!), but they haven't come out to say the FR-S/BR-Z performs at that level (so I'll assume that it is not quite as good as the IS-F). Let's say the FR-S/BR-Z can shift in 0.15s, how would this close the gap between the PDK and the FR-S/BR-Z slushbox?
