Maybe so, but realistically what else would go there? It's not like if it was just a 2 seater there would be an empty weightless void back there, they would still put something their like in my RX. The only objects back there that I consider extras are the physical seats.
I actually used X-Line, but I can't imagine it weighing more than 5-8 pounds. It was a gallon jug and it barely used 1/3 of it. Very, very thin layer. Just to eliminate the shine.
