6km on the ODO when it arrived at the dealer.
Dealer said it will likely be 9 or 10km when I pick the car up. Will let you know the actual reading when I do pick the car up.
Most car's arrive at the dealer with sub 10km. If the dealer takes it for a pre purchase inspection and notices something, they may have to put on an extra few km.
I used to worry about this same thing, but honestly, if they thrash it, and they brake it, I would rather it happens before I take delivery than have a CEL issue pop up a week later. I will be checking the paint with a magnifying glass before driving off.
Anything under 20km I wouldn't bother questioning, but if you are paranoid like I was, ask to see the car the moment it arrives at the dealer. As in, before they can do anything to it.
