He is talking about rolling to a stop sign, thank gosh he isnt trying to force first. Just take it out of gear if you want the chatter to stop, if it doesnt sound healthy it probably isnt.
At least you are getting the part of letting the shifter do the work for you, though it sounds like grinds have already been made.
