The best way to view the base map is that it's going to be something we'll feel safe for, say, a dealership to have a customer run. As in, walk in off the street, buy the car, and doesn't involve themselves in tuning or careful gas selection after that point.
That's why we do suggest that, whenever it's possible, to get the car tuned for the local gas and to your preferences. But we certainly understand a lot of people are not near a tuner, United States/Canada is a big, big place, and so we are trying to ensure it's a fun drive even on that base map.

I'll only be running 91 octane 99.9% of the time, so I'm hoping the base tune will be actually a "pretty decent" tune, i don't mind the fact that it's conservative, better safe then sorry! Also one of the main attractions of this kit TO ME, is the DIY option, as I stated before, I don't live anywhere near a tunner, so the fact that this kit will be coming with a very detailed installation manual and a base tune is a selling point for me, labour can be pricey and I prefer to do things myself and get that sense of accomplishment, it's just no feasible to install a turbo kit and have to trailer the vehicle to get it tuned in order to run the car lol.. Also the whp range the kit provides is what I want, not too high to have to be too concerned of needing to upgrade everything to withstand the extra power but enough for fun while not really (hopefully) affecting the reliability of the car ! (Also if you can maybe take a look at my previous post about e-tunes, it woild be appreciated

)
Cheers,
Keep up the awesome work,
