Stage 2 is still in R&D. What that really means is, while we have a fair idea of what we are going to do with Stage 2, we haven't finalized all the details and hardware. As mentioned previously Japan is testing the limits of the OEM fueling system. Then we'll have to decide if we stay within those limits or upgrade the fueling system.

Then once that is decided on, we have to do the testing there, then here in the states on 91 octane. That will take a bit of time.

2. That being said, if the stage 2 kit is pretty well just a complete exhaust and slight extra boost, engine reliability/parts reliability should be very similar to stage 1? (With the possible exception of the clutch) I plan to use 91 octane as it's the best I can find within about a 600km radius (fml lol).
Reliability should be similar, yes.

3. Boost Control, will we be able to control boost levels from ECUTek or would we need a boost controller?
Generally, for any turbo, factory or aftermarket, boost is determined by either the wastegate actuator itself, or by something acting upon that wastegate actuator - whether a boost solenoid, manual boost controller, restrictor pill, etc. So if ecutek was "controlling" the boost, it's doing so via a boost solenoid, which in turn must be wired in somewhere. So basically, a boost controlling device at some point must be put in.

4. Considering you'll have tremendous amounts of tune time into the kit, should I even bother getting an AFR gauge considering I have no knowledge in tunning and wouldn't make any adjustments on my own behalf unless instrcted by a professional?
Just a FYI on ecutek, the license/cable only covers the reflash. Actual tuning software is not included (and is much, much more). So while an afr gauge would give you something to look at, it wouldn't do much for you personally.

5. Reliability; It is to my understanding that your goal for the kit is to provide extra power to a Daily Driver and not taking away from the cars reliability in the least bit possible. I realise it's an extremely hard call to make with the limited mileage you guys have and the limited amount of vehicles the kit is actually being tested on, but can you forsee any issues that might come to mind in havin this stage 1 or stage 2 kit bolted on a MT from 5000km-250,000km such as engine internals or transmission or any other parts for that matter?
At this stage, we don't even know how long the *stock* engine, transmission, or other parts of the drivetrain will last. So honestly, I can't say - not for another 3 years at least.

All I've got is information from other kits on other cars, such as our 2.5i Outback that was turbocharged at 180,000 mile point on stock engine, and is still on that stock engine at 200,000 miles. Compression and leakdown check was just performed, with the compression on all 4 cylinders being between 201 and 205, and leakdown between 4-8% (8% on cylinder 4). As Ross puts it, he's seen 2011 WRX's with worse numbers than that.

Ultimately, I'll say the same for this car as any other turbo kit car we do - the most important thing is to keep up with changing the oil. Skimping on oil changes is the no.1 reason for engine failures IMHO. As far as clutches, seriously, it's a designated weak point. Far better for the clutch to wear out than the axles to break, or the diff or transmission.
