i have the exact same problem. I absolutely love my FR-S however, I will never be completely satisfied until this issue is fixed. I live in Montreal aka we have very cold winters and it is nearly impossible for me to down shift from 3rd to 2nd...i have to force it in which cannot be good...ive brought it to the dealer 3 different times and im sick of their excuses! everytime they say dont worry its running beautifully or ur on warranty so no need to worry if anything every happens its covered...id rather fix this before something happens!
