What makes you say that? There has been plenty of reference to both Supra and Celica, as well as the 2000GT.

3/4 of the Australian media is calling it the Celica. People know what a Celica is. Like: http://news.drive.com.au/drive/motor...518-1esvn.html

The select few are using the '86' trademark to suggest it's just going to be called '86'. Like: http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mell...2578BC001FB9B0

Just because you haven't heard shit about Australia, doesn't mean it won't happen. As I said before, Mr Buttner talked about it at the FT86II Australian launch.

I do agree with you, but the general public don't have a clue what an AE86 is.

At the end of the day, the USA car is going to be called something different to the rest of the world.
I pay attention.

So.....? You're point is? You call your breakfast Sausage Bangers too. I guess that means Jimmie Dean is going to name his sausage something else just for you?

As a marketing Director he's got a job to do, and that's stirring up interest. He can say any name's on the table. That's so noncommittal it's not even funny. It gets people talking which is his job. Get someone who matters over at Toyota Japan and I'll be interested.

References by who? Also does that mean it's going to be named 2000GT?

Again, the Media doesn't name Cars. Toyota does. So the Media can call it the snakebitten rolling turd. It doesn't mean a thing. People know what Corolla is too. Your point?

Honestly you don't know what I have and have not heard. But I do know that Australia is a such a small market, there's no way Toyota is going to name it Celica there, and no where else.

Duh, FR-S. Again, so what? What does that have to do with it being named Celica everywhere else?

This doesn't reflect positively on your "press" .
