Twin scroll doesn't make a whine. And don't get caught up in the hype. Twinscroll is decent, but there are downsides.

Twin scroll is not the same as twin screw.

Twinscroll pertains only to the turbine housing of a turbo. It divides the pulses for more even pairing to improve the efficiency of the turbine. This will help with response, but it is really marginal until larger turbos are used.
