If i needed power for daily use and general overall performance, id go with a turbocharger. Foot-to-pedal is magical on a turbo car, and once boost hits its a wonderland of just outright speed, which the brz does sorely lack.
IRL, id probably go with a turbo. because i doubt ill end up using it as a dedicated track toy since i already have my rx7 that fills that spot.
