^^ Car height doesn't matter nearly as much as headlight height and aim.
You could be driving a car an inch from the pavement, but if the rear was lowered more than the front (even by a small amount) you'll be aiming right at the faces of oncoming drivers, even if they're in big trucks.
Pretty much no one re aims their headlights after lowering a car though, or even if they have extra weight (people) in the back. That's why they make auto leveling lights (the JDM 86 has them stock, but it's about $2500 to get all the parts to add to a north american car).
