This factory-quality armrest installs in the existing center console cup holders. No modifying or cutting/drilling "ANYTHING" required. Easily removed to gain access to cup holder. I'm sometimes nervous when buying things like this, especially custom stuff and pics usually look better than the product you recieve.
This is not the the case with this beautiful piece of work. I was pleasantly suprised at the great packaging and care put in for shipment, and as I unwrapped the armrest, I was even more suprised at the amount of detail that went into the construction of this product. If this came stock on your BRZ or FR-S, you would be no wiser to know that it was an aftermarket piece.
Amazing quality leather, great stitching, excellent color contrast with stock interior upholstery and perfect fitment!

I actually LOVE that it is the size it is. Completely makes your arm in line with the shifter, but also allows you to drop your elbow between the side of the seat bolster and the armrest (so that your arm can drop down and be in line with the handbrake...if the armrest covered that section, I think my elbow would be propped up and uncomfortable).
