i disaagree, im on 18x8 CE28N (14.7lbs) with 245/35 (20.1lbs) (close to stock height) and they weigh the same as the 225/40 (20.2lbs) of the brand i use (continental DW) per tire for a total of 34.8lbs on my scale. stockers were 42lbs by my scale. unless you wanna run a 245/40 you shouldnt be to worried extra weight, slightly more rolling resistance however

the original weds tc105n in that size are about 17.1lbs and are plenty strong.
