the difference, according to Redline is fiction modifier. 75w90 has it but 75w90NS doesn't. Our LSD isn't a clutch type so doesn't need fiction modifler and so NS was selected.

also 75w90 is not safe for gearbox but 75w90NS is. both can be used for diff.
regardless my diff doesn't like the 75w90NS and i'm happy with Motul Gear 300.


There's more difference to these oils than just friction modifier, thats why your diff didn't like it. As they say a little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing...
