I disagree. I still think a manual is more fun during a commute and even in traffic. Been driving one for years and very rarely did I ever think, "Man, I wish I had an auto right now."

LOL, what? So people with "real jobs" need automatics?
But anyway, I agree with you in your concern for gas mileage. Adding a supercharger probably wouldn't do it for me for various reasons. The only thing I'd likely consider is the KERS they're working on.
BTW, is this supercharger being built by the American division? I wonder if it'll even be checked over by the Subaru engine engineers.
