We have a process and mold into existing factory pillars (hence we do have a refundable core charge). We can do these in a variety of matte or gloss colors. Since we begin with factory pillars, we retain factory clips and function. In other words, the airbags will deploy as Scion/Toyota wanted it to as long as you leave enough slack in wiring. Because there are airbags, we recommend anyone with an A-pillar setup use electronic gauges in case on an accident. Especially if you're using say...an oil pressure gauge. I don't think anyone wants a cab full of oil when the airbag deploys.
Our prototype set is going to get a trial fitting on an FR-S coming into the shop next week. Once we know everything is right, we will begin production of 2 and 3 gauge sets. The only delay would be how quickly we can get factory pillars.
