Lots of fast cars out there with "slow" drivers, don't sweat it. Just enjoy watching him try to figure out how to enter a corner and going off into the kitty litter behind you on track days.
EDIT; Also, yeah, I had someone say they could get one much faster than I did. I asked them who they knew and they spun me some BS about knowing the dealers had extra stock. Then they got back to me and said "THOSE PRICKS WANT FIFTY GRAND". You snooze you lose...
