Received a CBS Limited 6MT at Hudiburg in OKC today. Not many available in our area and I guess there are lots in other areas. Perhaps Fuji distributed to the wrong areas since this is a fair weather car at best, if not more a fun second car.
I do know that SNE shows a good amount, but it is not Subaru of America, they are seperate along with SDC. SOA, SDC and SNE all purchase their cars from Fuji and import them and allocate them as each individual entity sees fit.
Since SNE services a smaller area and move alot of units, I am sure they can purchase a good many of the production. While SOA is the largest Subaru distributor in the USA, they do have to service more dealers and keep all of them happy. SDC services New York if I recall correctly. So their numbers are considerably lower than the other two.
With all of this said, if you want the convenience of purchasing from a local, then you'll have to make a deal.
