True, but you can get a pretty loaded Sonata with the $1000 a/t standard and the 274hp engine for under $26k. I think the more important thing to look at is within Hyundai itself, not Mitsubishi. They're going to have a 208hp Veloster coming out in a year or so and letting your midsized sedan (Sonata) embarrass your sports car needs to be addressed. I think all stars point to the 2.0 getting the 274hp, but they're not leaking any information saying they're doing that.

either way the GC I actually really like but it isnt what I want and I hate the tail lights (super lux lights are dope tho) plus when I 1st saw the numbers I was sooo let down since it was pretty much a Mitsubishi Eclipse (2G) without AWD (numbers are pretty much the same and they both used evo blocks)
I am however excited to see what comes from this rumour of a AWD 5.0 GC

They said AWD isn't happening with this GC generation. So we MIGHT get AWD with the next. They're bringing an Elantra R-Spec with a 1.6l TGDI engine, so they're going to have to do something with the GC 2.0. I think I remember reading the first vehicles to have AWD will be the next generation Azera and GenSedan. Hyundai used to have a thing going with the same people that do the Quattro for Audi, but that was back in 2002. So heres hoping.
