Any thoughts on running Torque on the Adayo? I know it would probably need to use the Bluetooth interface right?
Thx

Actually the bluetooth portion of the adayo is locked only to using it for the phone/music. Same on the Ca-Fi.
The way that Ca-Fi gets around it is with a modified version of Torque that uses a USB adapter (normal versions can't use USB on Android versions under 4). If I manage to root the head unit, I can extract the APK for use with other head units. It works VERY well on the Ca-Fi.
I might just bite the bullet and grab one of the cheaper ca-fi imitations just as a test bed. Apparently the hardware (minus the touchscreen) is the same. I wish I knew more about electronics engineering, I'd try to fab up one of those dual core ICS android "sticks" inside the head unit.
Any chance you'd be willing to make a copy of the GPS SD card that comes with the Adayo for me?
