Me driving 80 on the freeway with cruise control gives me 40mpg. Going 45 on a street with cruise control and no breaking gives me 60+mpg. Automatic gives more MPG unlike the old times.

Automatic will never be smart enough to not frustrate me. I hate it when it up shifts 1 second before the up hill, stop sign, or etc. Automatic will never know what's coming ahead and prepare for it.
