Ps i agree with you.. Just want others to learn so we don't have to repeat.

Where i was going with this:

Rpf1 in 17x7 or 17x8 weighs less than 17x9.
D1 star spec in 215/xx weighs less than 245/xx or 255/xx.

In other words if you REALLY cared about weight...

Of course extra grip doesn't hurt. And wider does look better.
