That's so disappointing to hear. As more and more people abandon manual transmission cars, it will be harder to find them in the future. I was hoping that cars like these would help infuse
more manual transmission drivers into the mix and make manufacturers see that there are still plenty of people who want to drive manual transmission vehicles.
BTW, after all those years of driving stick, what made you want to switch to a conventional automatic? I'm the same age as you and I've been driving stick since the age of 17....and I still don't want to drive anything but a stick. I don't think that will ever change for me, unless something drastic happens, like I blow out my left knee or something.
