Doesn't it make sense that the car knows when to shift gears better than you do? The only way you will get more milage with MT is with Neutral driving. Me driving 80 on the freeway with cruise control gives me 40mpg. Going 45 on a street with cruise control and no breaking gives me 60+mpg. Automatic gives more MPG unlike the old times.
