To me, I believe Ford still carries the stigma of cheapness and long term unreliability.
Personally, I would never purchase one and even though they might be

On
Race
Day, they can still be
Found
On
Road
Dead and
Fix
Or
Repaired
Daily!
Case in point, when I went to Denver back in May, my rental car was a Ford Fusion. I had to bring it back and get another car b/c the trunk wouldn't open. Quality is not job 1!!!
