Good point, also if you go back to 2011 and I believe it was the Geneva auto show where Subaru showed off the drivetrain and made a point to say their AWD system would fit in the car. So I would have to take a step back from what I said up above and by no means am I implying i think the BRZ STi would be AWD. Just an alternative to a turbo and cutting in on WRX sales, which would in turn cut into WRX sales.
Kinda sucks when your car company makes more than one good performance car. At the same time I can't see them letting TRD run the table on factory FI.
