The Yokohamas are quite noisy but provide even more feedback on the dynamics of the car. It might just be me and my hearing, but I can judge the progressiveness of the cars grip by feel and by sound now.

As promised, here is an honest update regarding the new wheels.
Well, I know I said the above quote when I first got the wheels, but I feel different in my opinion now after having them for a few weeks.

It's not all doom-and-gloom, far from it, but to be honest I have to say that the dynamics of the car have been dulled somewhat.

Sure I can still control the car with the throttle, ie lift-off oversteer, but it's just not as snappy as with the stock wheels and rubber. It can be argued that this is not such a bad thing, as the rear end is not as wild. Moreover, the amount of grip the car has now is just phenomenal.

Stronger, lighter, and adjustable swaybars by Fulcrum were supposed to be going on today, but will happen on Friday instead. I will post another update regarding the handling/dynamics once I've tested them for a few weeks.
