"I've heard the noise. I've been able to get it to occur when being feathery in the throttle at low speeds in first/second gear (say below 2k rpm). I'm used to riding second gear sort of low (6-10mph) while in parking lots looking for a spot. When I give it a little gas, I typically hear that noise. Pretty sure it normal."
"Just picked up my BRZ yesterday and today i just noticed that grainy/rattly type noise. It definitely sounded like it came from below the car like either below the engine or near the tranny. Im a little freaked out myself but keep telling myself that its a new car and that I've never owned a Subaru so I will just Keep Calm & Carry On."
