I'll agree that the price will go up, but with today's turbo technology, throttle response isn't at all an issue. Small twin-scroll turbos often have no lag at all and allow for even better throttle response than N/A applications. And despite the higher HP & TQ, the fuel economy of a turbo engine often rivals lower power N/A versions of the same engine. Even if you lose some fuel economy, it will probably be minimal.
