I learned how to drive stick at 14 on backroads, i'm 21 now. its not tiring, it can be annoying in traffic though especially when you are just new to it. my first car was a 93 RX7 with a triple plate (overkill) and about 550whp

, i built it myself in auto class for 3 years in high school (sponsored build up). i sold that and bought an s2000 and turbo'ed it with the money. both MT's and both far from stock. 6mt is the way to go in the FRS/BRZ, its a sports car, nice short throws and an easy clutch, definitely faster than the slush box. it takes a day of driving around starting and stopping to get the hang of an MT. no need for lessons, you learn by doing it not having someone show you. get the MT and you'll never want an auto ever
