I told both Subaru and the dealer that I need the car based on my situation and not being able to borrow the car I had any longer. Subaru is giving me a $500 loyalty incentive and the dealer stepped up big time and gave me a 2012 Outback to drive until they have the car. They also arranged to get a white manual premium in that they are going to try to trade for a black or dark gray car at another dealer. Bad situation but great service from both parties!
That is a good dealer. I applaud their effort.

I also understand everyone and their pain. All of my initial allocation was sold before pricing was received and I have earned extras in the meantime many of my sold orders, last two to be exact, are finally arriving by the middle of next month.

I sense something similar about to develop with the six STis I have left on order. The first three arrived quickly. The build number is rumored to be low and Subaru is counting sold orders against the dealers allocation which is bad news for low volume areas.

Give your dealer a break as I'm sure they are doing what they can on their end, which isn't much. We place the order and HOPE it comes in promptly so our customers don't roast us on the CSI Surveys.
