For the AFe, the re-oiling instructions are:
Hold the filter in the vertical position with the pleats running up and down.
Apply a small bit of AFE oil to the top of each pleat. The oil will run down each pleat and soak it thoroughly. Do not over apply the oil--this will damage the filter.
Let the oil soak for about 12 hours, and then re-insert the filter into your vehicle. It is ready for use.
