John, with the fuel levels being accessible is it feasible to have the analog speedo read gallons remaining? Basically a much more accurate fuel gauge, where 130mph would equal 13 gals? Trying to think of a good use for it and that would have a lot of dial to work with for those last few gals. Know there are other priorities, but a thought.
I was thinking it would make a good boost gauge if you read it in bars or atms. But anything other then speed would probably throw off the gear indicator, the digital speedometer and possibly play head games with the abs and traction control. I'm pretty sure the cluster is just grabbing info off of a bus network. The info can be manipulated, but you have to be aware of what else is using that info.

By changing the instantaneous fuel consumption reading the average is most likely gonna be inaccurate (or more inaccurate) as well.
