-Yes. It has a rear camera input as well as various other inputs and outputs for both video and sound.
-Ummmm, I'm not sure. On the Adayo, probably whatever stock Froyo supports. You could always load an app that has more compatibility. I played 720p MP4's without issue.
-CarPC's need an amp. These units do not. They have an internal 45wx4 amp if you wanted to output directly to speakers.
-My stock BRZ unit had very low volume (Even turned up). So I'm going to say this is better. Quality wise, I didn't analyze the stock unit enough to pick up how it handles different frequencies. Also I replaced the speakers at the time of the head unit so it would be an unfair comparison.
Hope this helps!

A pic of the back of the other one would be great as that is the one I'm leaning towards now that I read the comparison. 720p is good enough for me, I've only got a few files in 1080i.
My FRS should be in my hands in December so I've got some time to decide. I haven't played around much with google maps, but I do like it and I'd probably use that as the nav. Does anybody know the details about loading maps before hand and how long they stay on the device?
I'm pretty much sold on it already, I just like to double check.
