Honestly, given your location I have to say no.
Unless you're going to the track regularly, or have an active autocross club in the area, you are never going to get close enough to the limits of this car to have much fun in it

I mean, it is fun having people look at it, and it is fun to drive, but frankly the car comes alive in the twisties. You don't have any twisty roads, so you're going to need a race course or some traffic cones
If you aren't tracking or fun-driving this car, you will not notice the difference between the celica and the FR-S, except for the comparative lack of practicality from the FR-S.
