If they are able to build the tC with all it's standard features, 18s, performance drivetrain and style for $19k. Then they can surely make a smaller, basic, but fun sports coupe that is shared with another automaker(Subaru) to be sold for $19k
That's the way I look at it. So then I'm adding a $2-3k for the consumer niche product "cool idea bro" markup, lol. They will make more profit on this car sale for sale over the tC, almost enough to cover another car in the line up shortcomings If it's priced at $24-25k.
*Cliffs, It costs less to make the FR-S than the tC, especially when it's a joint platform.
