IF thats $1300 from Japan then I'll see it for 1500-1600 at my door step.
For that Price I could get a tune, and add twice as much horsepower and a competitors intake.
This isn't an S2000. It's a Suburu. Prices should be in line with other Boxer parts, and $1300 is 4x the price of a competitors intake.
I could justify $1300 for an intake IF it added 20HP. However, It will not... It'll add 5-10 HP(My Guess), and likely require a tune.
The required tune makes it a lot less desireable for people who use it as their everyday driver.
I think if they were trying to market this thing they need to work out the price better. Yes its CF, and thats pretty and all, but worth 4x the price of a similar piece? I don't think so..
