Ive had the idle dip issue for 4400 miles now and while i havent gotten a CEL i also have not gotten a reflash or new ecu and my dealer is refusing to do anything till i get the CEL.
My question is after i get the CEL and fix it is there going to be long term effects to my motor? I know a few people have but im wondering if thats a given.

Then you don't have a problem. Stop wasting the dealership's time until you get the CEL
IF you even get it. There is no fix for the idle dip issue; there is a fix for several cam related CELs that seems to sometimes fix the idle dip.
