Do a search. Watch the video of the BRZ's rolling off the assembly line, and watch the engines go up to redline on the dyno as a final test before they get shipped off. Do you honestly think I make this up?? I've got better things to do than spread rumors and false information.
Again, to the OP, the clock is ticking. If it's worth the few hundred extra to get the car early, than by all means do it! If you want to wait to spend less and get a car that only 50 human hands have touched (instead of 52), that's fine too. Whatever your decision, I'm sure you'll be satisfied!
