This would matter if you bought a car that was fast, so you needed to be in the correct gear to take the corner at optimal speed. But, the BRZ/FRS is slow, and the sporty nature of the car is the driving experience. Balancing three pedals, a steering wheel, and the shifter is exactly what the car is all about.
