It sounds like you should probably wait for the next WRX, then, when it spins off from the Impreza platform. The AWD advantage can become a detriment in a heavy vehicle that has to work the brakes harder to slow when entering a corner resulting in earlier brake fade. And, you still have to deal with the understeer inherent in AWD platforms.
as for 0-60 time:
According to
http://www.060calculator.com/ at 200hp and 2550lbs curb weight (which is where I estimate it would be at based on the weight of the last Celica and this is similar in size and weight focus) this car should be capable of sprinting to 60 in 5.641 seconds. That's plenty fast enough for me while I learn the dynamics of the car.
