FWIW -
Just as a heads up, my 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited Passenger Heater Switch is broken. I literally flipped it about 5-7 times this morning for the first time and it became soft/unresponsive. I found this post and it helped. I also did a shitload of searching to find out these switches are made by Nissan and can be found on Ebay. I just spent $25 on a replacement switch. Average cost is about $25-$28 used or $50 shipped new. Ouch. The stock switches IMO are not high quality.
Oh, and compared to other cars I've owned, the seat heaters in this car are 'decent' only if the thermostat (any chance you know where it is located?) stays on longer than it does not.
And another BTW - I tried the drivers heat seater last week for the first time, was hot for some time, then smelled something burning, and then it got cold. Now, for some reason it doesn't seem to get as hot as it used to and definitely not as long. I sat in the passenger seat this morning and it took a long time to get hot, and then the damn switch broke.
Ugh!
