We've found through experience that dyno tunes that look ok don't fair as well once we move from sea level to 6000 feet, or when climbing a pass in desert conditions.
We did that for the turbo kits for the 2.5i Subaru's, and the AVO Outback with 180k on the clock when we installed it is still running very well 2 years and 20,000 miles later.

And on a 5psi build, the difference between 91 and 93 isn't going to be as large as 20+ psi build. This isn't an all-out, max hp base map - this is a daily driver map.

Don't forget these ECU are all ways adjusting for the best performance on the fuel quality. Most off the time you will see better Fuel = more boost, there is not much difference in the map as we will try to run as much advance as we can and let the knock control do its job.
So please just give us some time to give dyno results and road testing.
Speedhunters will be doing a story on the AVO Japan BRZ this week so there will be more Information on the kit on there web sight.

Are you guys (talking to forum members, not AVO) reading the thread or just reading the last post and responding? I asked about the 93 map, and they answered the question clearly. They WILL provide 93 maps, they just said the initial map (first day) will be 91. I don't understand whats the fuss about.
Also, regarding the difference between 91 and 93, Ross is ABSOLUTELY correct. First of all, this is a 5 psi kit, not a crazy 25 psi kit pushing the whole limits of performance, so the difference will be relatively small. Second, if you have a 91 map and put 93 gas, there is no hindrance in performance, meaning if they made 250 whp and 230 wtq in 91, you will NOT make less power in 93, if anything you will make a bit more power.
I know we have some knowledgeable people in the forum, but sometimes i read some posts and it just seems we also have some other members who know very little about how this works, and this is NOTHING wrong and nothing to be ashamed off. The problem I have with it is you start seeing a lot of posts about misinformation and it is written as FACTS, and it gets the masses riled up.
I ask everyone (not pointing fingers at anyone specifically, just talking to the whole community) to please inform themselves before starting the forum war on how this or that is detrimental when in reality it is not, and also to follow the thread and read all posts, for accuracy.
