BUT if you have the 18" Lg vibrant resonator, that would make things really complicated. You could get the 24" and replace the 18" and then sell the vibrant one. It would be a shame to see the vibrant resonator go to waste. I would wait a bit until someone post up a review/video of what the SRT exhaust sounds like with the cat and bigger resonator.
Cats do definitely make things quieter, but it's because they restrict airflow, not because they're actually designed to make things quieter. Resonators are designed to reduce sound without as large of an impact on performance. Since I still have my first cat, I really don't think I need a second one.

While I'm still a beginner at my consumed knowledge of how resonators work, I do know that the longer they are, the lower the tone and less drone. With the 18" Vibrant resonator, only 15.5" of that is the actual body. The LCEngineering 24" one has no outlet/inlet pipe, so the body itself is 24". With a body more than 1 1/2 times the length of the Vibrant, it seems it should be capable of being noticeably quieter. My only concern is that I haven't been able to find out much information at all about the company's resonators. Most reviews I've seen are Toyota trucks that use their headers.
