Initial impression on STG1 v1.07:
- Off the line throttle response under normal driving seems to be dulled down a little. It felt better after some miles. May improve after a while.
- Mid-high range definitely pulls harder, especially mid! Felt very similar to my old 08 Si K20 (in a good way. ie rev happy) with bolt on and ECU tuned , but with more torque!
- Very odd but it even sounds different (louder) at WOT in mid and high. Airaid intake was already on the car.
- STG1 Tune feels awesome.
Time for some datalogging and few hours of track time on Wednesday. 
Hopefully John will still look at my data in 6months since my car will be in storage this week.  |
Very nice review, suprised how noticable the gains are even with the STG1 Tune. Very impressive. I'm just under 10k miles, with just perrin crank pulley, and a front strut bar. But the stock intake has settled in and actually has a whistle to it at 5k rpm+. I'm waiting for K&N to come out with one. Very nice review again.
