I was one of the earlier guys who got the middle size resonator (Vibrant 1793 IIRC) before they made the big one (Vibrant 17930 IIRC) available, and definitely want to make it as quiet as possible. I love the tone, feel of the car, and appearance, but it's too loud for me.
It's fun being loud when getting on it most of the time, but I honestly feel embarrassed when pulling into/exiting the work parking lot, and my wife absolutely hates my car now. I really want to figure out how best to tone down the volume, and I'm not sure if upgrading to a Vibrant 17930 is enough.

Have you considered getting a cat welded on? Or do you already have one?
I bigger/longer resonator plus a cat will definitely quiet down the system.
